As students, we were also exposed to cultural and historical topics via internet resources as well as teacher presentations, which helped us to form a rounder image of the French psyche and linguistic heritage. As the course progressed, in order for us to improve on our speaking and to vary our daily routine, afternoons were set aside for us to have a conversation in French or to use the internet to research something about French culture. Our teacher was a constant source of energy, efficiency and benevolence which helped me to take the most from the experience as I could have hoped."
